These two photographs of a rusty Morris Minor were taken last autumn during a visit to the Willowpool Garden Centre in Cheshire. The car was located inside quite a large green and white striped polytunnel. The stripes and colours of the polytunnel were difficult to exclude from most of the angles I tried to shoot from and the light shining through the polytunnel gave the car and unrealistic green hue, but I didn’t want to leave without capturing anything.
I decided to focus on some of the more interesting elements of the car, such as the headlamps, grille, badge and rust. The two shots here are the best of a small bunch.
